!!    We are Rum's Eg Singers   !!

Led by our Musical Director Annie George, we are a friendly, fun and welcoming group, happy singing  just amongst ourselves and at small fund-raising & public concerts. Our repertoire includes Choral, Classical, Gospel, Folk, Pop, Madrigals, Musicals. 

 We practise on alternate Tuesdays  - 10.00 - 11.30 am in the  Abbey United Reform Church, Abbey Water, Romsey.           Autumn Term dates:   Sept 15 & 29; Oct: 13 & 27;  Nov: 20: 24; Dec: 8; 15 

As part of Romsey Festival 2026 we sang a short concert - at which members of the audience could - and did! - join us in a couple of pieces. Generous donations from the audience amounted to £300  which were split between 3 local charities.                                                                                                                                               

                             In March 2026 we sang at Romsey Mayor's Afternoon Tea Party. At our 2025 Christmas concert we raised £450, split between the Mayor's Community Chest & Prescription  Arts ; we were delighted and honoured that our (then) Mayor, Russell Theron stepped into the Choir to join us in singing The  Hallelujah Chorus!
