!!    We are Rum's Eg Singers   !!

Led by our Musical Director Annie George, we are a friendly, fun and welcoming group, happy singing  just amongst ourselves and at small fund-raising and public concerts. Our repertoire includes Choral, Classical, Gospel, Folk, Pop, Madrigals and Musicals.   We  practise on alternate Tuesdays from 10 - 11.30 am  in Abbey United Reform Church, Abbey Water, Romsey    

 Remaining Spring 2026  sessions in Romsey's URC church -   March 10th & 24th

We are also performing later this year:

  • Wednesday 11 March  (12noon-2pm) Romsey Mayor's Afternoon Tea Party in Crosfield Hall, Romsey
  •  Saturday June 13th (7.30pm)  Downton Church  - as part of Downton Music Festival   
  •  Tuesday 14 July  (12.30- 2pm)  Romsey's  URC church -  as part of Romsey Festival;                                                .......  members of the public are welcome to join in and sing some songs with us; rehearsal from 10.30am)                                                                 

Our Christmas concert raised £450 - split between The Mayor's Community Chest,  and Prescription Arts 

.....and  we were delighted - and honoured -  that our Mayor, Russell Theron  stepped into the Choir to join us in singing the Hallelujah Chorus!
